The Principals and Staff are all experienced practitioners with many years of teaching behind them. They now bring their wide and varied skills together under one roof, to share with the students in a supportive and friendly learning environment.
The Principals
Kathy Pitt BA (Hons) LCH RSHom FSDS Hom
Kathy originally studied music at York University. Whilst working as a concert agent in London, she discovered the College of Homeopathy, and was able to pursue something that had been a fascination since childhood. She now lives in Shoreham-by-Sea and divides her time between her practice and the South Downs School.
Robin Hayfield FCA LCH MARH FSDS Hom
Robin has been in practice since 1989 after graduating from the College of Homoeopathy in London. Prior to becoming a homoeopath, he qualified as an accountant, and later worked for many years in the publishing field. He founded Odyssey, a well known alternative bookshop in London which he ran during the 1980’s. He now lives in Cornwall and practices there as well as in London. He is the author of three popular books on homoeopathy that have been published in more than twenty countries.
Steve Smith BA (Hons) LCH MARH FSDS Hom RHom
Steve studied Psychology at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and had many years experience of working in Psychiatry. He now practices Homoeopathy from his home in Brighton, as well as supervising the college’s own low-cost teaching clinic. He has been involved in Homoeopathic education for many years and has taught at many other colleges. His book `Medical Homoeopathyʹ has been highly acclaimed.
